The CheckPoint Breath Alcohol Test .040 is an easy-to-use, disposable breath alcohol test that gives instant results. Perfect as an alcohol screening device where alcohol programs need to be enforced.
Easy to Use. Gives Pass/Fail Results
The CheckPoint can detect alcohol concentrations as low as 0.040 BrAC. The user squeezes the device’s tube and then blows directly into the tube for 12 seconds. If alcohol is present in the breath at the .040 BrAC level, the yellow crystals will turn to a green or blue color within two minutes, which indicates a positive test result. If there is no alcohol present in a subject’s breath, the color of the crystals remain yellow and the subject is considered to have passed the test.
Multiple Cut-off Levels
The CheckPoint breath alcohol test comes in a variety of cut-off levels to meet the specific needs of workplace, corrections, military, personal use and other areas where safety is important and where individuals must be monitored for alcohol use. Available cut-off levels include 0.02%, 0.04%, and 0.08% BrAC.
