RSV Antigen Rapid Test
The Rapid Check RSV Antigen test is FDA 510k cleared for professional use. It is intended for the rapid, qualitative detection of respiratory syncytial virus fusion protein directly from nasopharyngeal swab and nasal aspirate specimens. This onsite test is for in vitro diagnostic use and is intended for use as an aid in the rapid laboratory diagnosis of acute RSV infection.
The Rapid Check RSV Antigen test is a lateral flow immunoassay using monoclonal antibodies for the direct visual detection of RSV protein F in clinical samples. Test results should be read between :15 and :25 minutes after applying the extracted sample to the test device.
Negative results should be confirmed by cell culture.
- Do not use expired test kits
- Store kits in their sealed foiled packaging at room temperature or refrigerated (36-86 degrees F)
