The Alcovisor Mercury breathalyzer DOT package includes the Mercury device and all the required testing supplies.

The Mercury is acceptable for DOT workplace testing and appears on NHTSA’s conforming products list as an evidential breath tester. Fast and easy to use, the Mercury breath alcohol tester conducts a test in less than 60 seconds.

• Is the Mercury system approved for DOT testing?
  Yes. The Mercury device appears on the NHTSA conforming products list as an evidential breath tester for DOT testing.
• Will the Mercury conduct a :15 count-down before a confirmation test?
  Yes. When the :15 count-down feature is enabled, and following a positive screening test result of .020 or greater, the :15 count-down timer will appear and count down before it allows the operator to conduct a confirmation test.
• Will the Jupiter conduct an Air Blank?
  Yes. The Jupiter system conducts an automatic Air Blank procedure before every test. An Air Blank is a procedure that checks the fuel cell for residual alcohol from a previous test.
